The real scoop on Alden Gafner would have to begin during the '80s when he attended Syracuse University at the School of Visual Performing Arts. After the cellular telephone was available in the United States, Michael Jordan joined the Bulls and Apple introduced their user-friendly Macintosh personal computers, Alden decided to tackle Corporate America.
In 1986, he began his professional career at Keenan Co. as a graphic designer. Luck struck him two years later with a promotion to Art Director. 1994 provided some decisions for the Gafman as Keenan & Co. closed its doors. Ed Vayner & Associates snatched him up as a graphic designer just as acclaimed scientists provided evidence for the existence of ancient life on Mars. In 1997, Alden decided to fly solo with his homebased freelance business, Alden Graphic Design. After surfing the web one day in 2006, he came along a little firm known as Coburn Design in Auburn. And the rest is history…
Alden lives in Camillus with his wife Sue, and their two boys, Peter and David. He enjoys housework, drawing, working on his boats and the joys of parenting teenagers.
