In June of 2004, Gwen received the New York State Senate Woman of Distinction Award from Senator Michael Nozzolio. Her mother, the Honorable Barbara N. Webber, retired Jefferson County, New York legislator also received this recognition making them the first mother and daughter to ever receive Woman of Distinction honor in the same year. In 2007 Gwen was honored by the CNY Business Journal as one of 20 Business Women of the Year.
Additionally, she is a former trustee of Cayuga Community College and served as a member of the Cayuga Community College Foundation Board of Directors.
In May of 2006 Gwen obtained an advanced degree, Masters of Science in Management from Keuka College. The pursuit of this degree increased her knowledge about leadership development for emerging and established leaders. She intends to use this knowledge to fuel her passion for supporting individual leaders and their teams in becoming calm, effective, and inspired leaders.
